Notably, it was not the birthday Morikawa was excited about, but rather the liberty that comes with turning 25. He took to Twitter and wrote, “I finally don’t have to worry about rental car restrictions! #25.”

In America, one must be at least 21 to rent a car. Some companies allow 18-year-olds to do that, but it is a rare case. Even though the companies let anyone above 21 rent a car, most of them levy a ‘young driver’ surcharge if you are under 25.

Clearly, Morikawa has tasted plenty of success, despite his young age. Hence, fans were thrilled to see how still the small things in life, like renting a car, brought the young golfer such joy. One of them wrote, “Oh my. I thought I misread this. What an amazing journey you’ve had at such a young age. Such a pleasure to watch you Collin. Best of luck in all your endeavors.”

Many fans were surprised to know that Collin had just turned 25 since he is already one of the top golfers in the world.

Notably, a few even shared the sentiment, as they too struggled with the restrictions due to their age.
