Collin Morikawa made his first swing when he was just 5. And since then there has been no going back. He knew how deeply he was in love with the sport during his time at the University of California. He managed to win five times there and bagged the PAC-12 Conference Championship in 2019. He made his debut on the PGA Tour the same year he turned professional at the RBC Canadian Open. And well, his inauguration itself was a bag! He finished at T14.
The American professional managed to bag his first victory on the Tour the same season he made his debut. He won the 2019 Barracuda Championship, and then there was no stopping him. Appearing in nine events, he earned $1,754,890 that year. In 2020, despite missing two cuts, Collin Morikawa won the Workday Charity Open and also bagged his first major win at the PGA Championship.
He started appearing full-time on the Tour, and his earnings from that year increased to a whopping $5,250,868. The 2X Major Champion has been only going uphill ever since. With the 2024 season coming to an end, he has taken home a whopping $34,859,707, from which last year alone, he has managed to earn $8,383,572. This was even though he failed to grab any win last season and also missed two cuts. This has raised his net worth to a staggering $30 million.
