Ever since the Ryder Cup ended, we have been waiting for the golf queen to talk about it. She shares her thoughts on major golf stuff, on multiple channels. Paige Spiranac has a podcast named ‘Playing a Round with Paige Renee’ where she discusses golf passionately. She also uploads vlogs on her YouTube Channel from time to time apart from Instagram and Twitter.

Spiranac’s podcast episode on the Ryder Cup recently dropped. In the episode, Spiranac and her co-host Samantha Marks shared their thoughts and opinions about the event. Particularly who disappointed them the most came up. And they had one name that stood out the most for them.

Paige Spiranac’s “biggest disappointment” on the US Team

Getting into the Ryder Cup, the duo started off with the time gap and how they missed the first session. And they exclaimed how they were totally upset waking up to a 4-0 score on the European side. 

Then the question of who disappointed them the most of all came into discussion. And with no hesitation, Collin Morikawa’s name came up. Both Spiranac and Marks, in unison, expressed how they found his performance bad.

Paige Spiranac said, “Collin Morikawa for me was the biggest disappointment on the US side, by far.” She also mentioned how she hardly remembers seeing him and then joked about how that has to do with poor coverage. She reiterated how he did not “show up” for his team, in her opinion.

Marks agreed and spoke about the fact that some players on the US side didn’t seem to actually care about the loss. She added she felt the same way about a lot of players as Morikawa, but he was “pretty bad.” Marks also mentioned some players who she thought displayed remorse and regret after missing out.

Speaking of Morikawa, Paige Spiranac had already been skeptical about the Californian when the team roster was announced. What did she say about him before the tournament began?

The golf beauty often makes golf-related predictions, and she had her own list of Ryder Cup Captain’s picks. Her list was not completely off, but wasn’t perfectly accurate either. On her list, she had omitted Collin Morikawa. 

She had opined that Morikawa’s performance lacked consistency, and he failed to instill confidence in the audience. She was unsure of him being picked for the Ryder Cup. 

However, this is not the only instance she has expressed skepticism about that young golfer. Spiranac has spoken about how Morikawa is a bit overrated. There were talks last year comparing him with Tiger Woods, and this was her response to that.

Well, Morikawa could earn just one point for the Americans. He won one game and lost three, making it an awful experience for him at the Ryder Cup.
