Charlie Woods is following the legacy of Tiger Woods! The 15-year-old son of the golf legend is trying to break onto the PGA Tour. He recently competed in the pre-qualifier event for the Cognizant Classic. Although it ended with heartbreak for the youngster, who failed to qualify, his participation itself was a huge talking point. But, surprisingly, not the only one! Alongside it, there was another, his clothes—the youngster was sporting his long-rumored partner, Greyson Clothier!
Sporting a Blue Greyson jacket, Woods Jr. was the first player to walk onto the range at the pre-qualifier at Lost Lake Golf Club. This, of course, adds to he rumor mill of the two sides partnering up, which started late last year when he was clad in Greyson from top to bottom at the 2023 PNC Championship. While there is still no official announcement of the two sides partnering, Charlie’s decision to sport their brand while taking his first ever steps to play on the PGA Tour speaks volumes.
Moreover, while the 15-year-old may not be listed as an official ambassador on the apparel brand’s website, there have been instances that suggest perhaps a secret agreement. Last year, when Woods Jr. wore Greyson to the parent-child event, NFL star Larry Fitzgerald, who is an official partner of Greyson Clothier, teased him on Instagram. He added a story that the brand’s official Instagram page also reposted, which read, “Welcome to the @greysonclotheirs family, Charlie.” Hours later, however, both posts were quickly deleted.

While Woods’s choice of clothing undoubtedly fuels these rumors further, he wasn’t exactly wearing Greyson exclusively. This may also point to them just being his apparel of choice and nothing more! After all the multiple brands that he has donned this week, they are certainly potential partners for him!
Charlie Woods could team up with Tiger’s brand
While his jacket undoubtedly was that of the Detroit-based brand, the golfer also donned a back Titleist cap. His father, Tiger Woods, and Titleist had been partners early on in his career, and perhaps the youngster is looking to literally follow in his father’s footsteps in that scenario. However, he does have more options.
Charlie’s most appealing partner option is arguably his father’s brand, Sun Day Red, which officially launched just days ago. The 15-year-old was even seen wearing the officially unreleased Sun Day Red gloves this week, perhaps indicating which way he’ll lean for his sponsor.

Moreover, perhaps controversially, he had also donned a pair of Nike joggers and socks at the Cognizant Classic pre-qualifying event. And perhaps while the Swish—whom Tiger Woods just last month officially ended his partnership with—may not be his father’s choice, it just may be his.
