Just yesterday, a rather famous NFL wide receiver and avid golfer, posted on the Instagram story that Tiger Woods’s young cub has signed with Greyson Clothiers. The post was shared by the brand’s official handle as well. However, they have since removed the story.
The news came amid swirling rumors of Tiger Woods ending his partnership with Nike and Charlie Woods following suit. The teenager has earlier sported FootJoy shoes like his father. Notably, there was no official announcement from Charlie Woods or Greyson Clothiers. Now, the new developments complicate the matter further.

TWLegion, a Tiger Woods fan page on X (formerly Twitter), first broke the news of a new deal between Charlie Woods and Greyson Clothiers. However, the handle has now revealed that the sports apparel band has deleted that Instagram story. “Greyson Clothiers have deleted their posts about Charlie joining the Greyson team. Larry Fitzgerald was the first to post the news,” wrote TWLegion on their X account.

It was Larry Fitzgerald, who first posted the news of Charlie Woods joining the brand. The former Arizona Cardinals Wide Receiver posted pictures of Charlie Woods on his Instagram story, captioning, “Welcome to the Greyson Family @CharlieWoods.”
The story was also shared from the page’s official Instagram handle. The sports clothing brand has ties with many PGA Tour pros, including Justin Thomas, Matt Fitzpatrick, Luke Donald, and others. In fact, as per some users, the brand also sent a newsletter indicating a new partnership.

Furthermore, Charlie Woods was wearing Greyson Clothing in the PNC Championship, as evident from the wolf logo on his collar, Sports Illustrated reported. Justin Thomas and his father, Mike Thomas were also sporting the same brand. The Thomas and the Woods are known to have close family ties. The news was significant because of Tiger Woods’s tumultuous relationship with Nike.

There were swirling rumors that Tiger Woods’s 27-year-old partnership with Nike is set to end. The 15x major winner last signed a 10-year extension in 2013, and reports indicate Nike is leaving the golf apparel business to Original Equipment Manufactures.
