Charles Barkley is one of the biggest golf enthusiasts in the NBA world after Michael Jordan. He was one of the best rebounders in the NBA during his time. But since his retirement, Charles has made golf his primary and favorite sport. Moreover, he has even competed with Phil Mickelson and other golfers for charity and pro-am events.
However, initially, when he started playing golf, Barkley had an unorthodox golf swing. But he persisted with it and has improved a lot over the years. Notably, Barkley always talks about his love for golf in every podcast he goes, and recently, he revealed the best shot he has seen in golf so far.

Charles Barkley reveals the best golf shot he has seen
Charles Barkley recently appeared on a podcast, where while talking, he revealed the best golf shot he has seen. “The best golf shot I have ever seen was of Tiger Woods at Canadian Open,” said Barkley. “I think a 5-wood for 220 yards over a lake, and it was the best shot I have ever seen.”

Furthermore, he said the only shot that comes close to this is the recent shot from Hideki Matsuyama at Sony Open. Hideki smashed a 3-wood on a par 5, reached the green in two, and completed the hole in 3 strokes in the playoff. And Charles Barkley believes this shot comes close to the one he saw of Tiger Woods at the Canadian Open.

Meanwhile, this shot from Hideki Matsuyama helped him to win the 2022 Sony Open in Hawaii a couple of weeks ago. Notably, Charles knows a lot about golf and has been following this sport for a while now. And if he believes that Tiger’s shot at the Canadian Open was the best, then it must be true.
When it comes to the playing side of things, according to reports, Charles’ handicap is now back to 10, which is a great thing. However, do you agree with Charles’ pick of Tiger’s shot from the Canadian Open?
