Charlie and the former number-one golfer will pair up for the upcoming PNC Championship. They have been practicing, and this year might be lucky for the father-son-duo. Last year they missed the first spot, and John Daly won the championship paired with his son. Fans are excited to see how the match will unravel the skills honed by Charlie by his father.
Does Tiger Woods follow an approach while teaching his son?
Tiger Woods is as determined as his late father when teaching his son the right golf skills. The way the legend’s father used to play mind tricks on his son, Woods does the same with Charlie. He believes that if he can penetrate his son’s brain, it means anyone can. So he keeps playing tricks to make him mentally strong; if Woods cannot enter, no one else can.
And if no one can enter Charlie’s head, he will only focus on golf. The G.O.A.T. talked to NBC’s Paul Azinger during the Hero world challenge and revealed his approach while training his son. However, he believes that every other player has their approach. The pro has his methods, “but certain players would do certain things with clubs and shoes,” said the golfer. When he entered professional golf, people had a different approach, “and a lot of these guys” didn’t know about any of the techniques; however, they learn with time.

Woods was referring to the current crop of young athletes when he mentioned ‘a lot of guys’. According to him, fans are throwing money at them for less than what he discussed with Azinger. It’s one of those moments when an experienced man screaming at the cloud is correct. The good news is that when the time comes, Charlie will be ready for anything.
