When he entered professional golf, people had a different approach, “and a lot of these guys” didn’t know about any of the techniques; however, they learn with time.

Woods was referring to the current crop of young athletes when he mentioned ‘a lot of guys’. According to him, fans are throwing money at them for less than what he discussed with Azinger.
