However, interestingly, another online star, Olivia Dunne, appeared to be at the center of her opinion.

The issue of Photoshop is not new to the social media cosmos. This is true to the extent that even many online celebrities share their opinion regarding the same. One such entity who has a lot to say about this etiquette is none other than Paige Spiranac’s rival and golfer, Hailey Ostrom.

Through her Twitter and TikTok handles, the 29-year-old influencer voiced her dislike for the photoshop used by people online. Mentioning Olivia Dunne, Paige Spiranac’s ally and friend, Ostrom said, “This Photoshopping issue has gotten so out of control. To the point where Livvy Dunne is caught Photoshopping the length of her hair… huh?”, per Outkick.

The golf influencer’s disappointment was clear as a day. Even though, she did mention Dunne on several occasions in her video, the NIL queen insisted that it is not the 20-year-old only who engages in such activities. Ostrom had a strong argument against the tool used by individuals.

She said that it creates an unnecessary bundle of expectations for young women and girls. Calling it “toxic”, Ostrom believed that they ultimately struggle with the unattainable idea of “perfection”. However, as these comments of the golf influencer came forth featuring Olivia Dunne, many speculations arose.

One of the dominant ones highlighted that it might have been an indirect jab at none other than Paige Spiranac, given their history. However, no confirmation from either of the parties was made. But, why does a rivalry exist between the two golf celebrities?

What ignited the sparks of rivalry between Ostrom and Spiranac?

Hailey Ostrom and Paige Spiranac have a long history of rivalry with each other. The two golf divas faced each other in a feud for the first time, almost a year ago, and the controversy surrounded none other than the golfing legend, Tiger Woods. The whole scene started with Amanda Rose, in a simple tweet, calling Woods the “ultimate dad.”

Ostrom, targeting the tweet and Woods, commented about the 2009 scenario surrounding the golfer and about a girl’s Dad being able to set a better example. While Rose herself had replied back with a jab to the influencer, the argument soon escalated with the entry of Paige Spiranac into the conversation to defend Woods.

Spiranac had pointed out how Ostrom and her dad had referred to her as a “bad example,” hence leading to her blocking the father-daughter duo online. Coming to the PGA Tour professional’s defense, the golf mommy pointed out how “It’s easy to pass judgment but it shows great character to learn from mistakes.” While that was the initiation of the conflict between the two social media influencers, the scene has only intensified between the two.
