Spain! Spain! Spain! There aren’t many occasions when we see elite athletes- a golf team, a tennis star, and a soccer team from the same country compete on the same day. And the sports world is abuzz with the turn of events. Sergio Garcia is also expecting more of a dream scenario, forgetting his Open Championship heartbreak, for which he could not qualify for the second successive year. However, we are so close to witnessing this amazing feat only if we get lucky enough.
In a pre-tournament presser, as reported by ASAP sports, at Real Club Valderrama, the Spanish hero was asked to imagine a scenario where Spain’s Soccer team wins the Euros final, Carlos Alcaraz wins the Wimbledon finals, and of course, his team Fireball wins at the home turf, all on the Sunday showdown. In response to the question, he stated, “Well, that’s a lot of ifs…Let’s go slowly, slowly, slowly. “
First, to make this scenario happen, Garcia and his teammates Eugenio Chacarra, David Puig, and Abraham Ancer must show resilience and put in hard work from day one, he added, “I guess slowly but surely, the thing we have to do, all four of us, is have a solid week going into Sunday, put as many of us as possible up there with a chance. That would be a good start.”

The 44-year-old emphasized that his team needed a good week to make this happen. Second, the World No. 3 Tennis star Carlos Alcaraz has to clear the semi-final hurdle on Friday, July 12. Subsequently, Garcia also noted that for the Euro 2024 final, where Spain will battle with England for the title, he will watch the match and hope for a great outcome.
As the 11x PGA Tour winner states, “And then Carlos needs to win today, and afterwards, we’ll watch Spain against England and see if we can make it an unbelievable Sunday.”

Well, to start with, the Spanish Tennis star, Carlos Alcaraz, should have to clear the semi-final hurdle first. For that, he needed to defeat the Russian, Daniil Medvedev. And after he gets past him, he will face one of the semi-finalists, the great Novak Djokovic and Lorenzo Musetti. The 21-year-old has all the capability to clinch his second successive Wimbledon as the last time he beat Novak Djokovic with scores 1–6, 7–6 (8–6), 6–1, 3–6, 6–4 to win the gentlemen’s singles tennis title.
