Becoming the first golfer to win back-to-back LIV Golf titles, Talor Gooch has done nothing less than make history at the LIV Golf Singapore event. It had only been days since he won the Adelaide tournament and celebrated with the Australian fans, followed by a spectacular ‘shoey’. Similarly, another victory calls for another celebration for the player. And surprisingly, he has already given his fans a hint of how he plans to celebrate his $4 million win.

Talor Gooch wins another LIV Golf event, discloses plans to celebrate

Gooch, 31, has made millions of new fans within the last two weeks in the golf world. Despite having a pretty decent career on the PGA Tour, the golfer decided to shift to the Saudi League as soon as he got the chance. And as far as it is going for him, his LIV Golf decision has proven to be a charm. After his recent win in Australia, fans couldn’t have wanted anything more than to watch him win another one immediately after that.

The golfer made all his fans in Adelaide extremely happy by celebrating his win in the traditional Australian way–the ‘shoey’. However, drinking beer from a shoe is not on the list for Gooch this time. Instead, in his recent post-game interview, the golfer revealed something he couldn’t wait to make things even more memorable for himself and his team.

When asked how good he felt about his triumph, here’s what the Range GOATs GC star had to say: “This is as good as it gets, plain and simple… We played so great this week, I can’t wait to spray’em on the face with champagne! So yeah man, this is what we work hard for.” Well, it looks like Bubba Watson and his other two partners are soon going to be drowned in a lot of champagne!

Why did Gooch join LIV Golf?

Unlike most of his fellow LIV Golf players, Gooch was not primarily interested in the money to join the Saudi League. Instead, according to his recent statements, he was in love with the idea of playing team events. “I love team sports. I love having a locker room feel,” he said.

And maybe that is why he credited his team for his current victory as well when he said, “We help rise each other up, we help push each other. That’s what’s so great about the team environment…we all bring something different to the table.”
