Greg Norman has had a life filled with uncertainties when it comes to his relationships. The retired golfer married Laura Andrassy and held on to her for 25 long years. However, soon after his divorce from her, Norman decided to marry tennis star, Chris Evert. But to everyone’s surprise, their marriage didn’t last for more than 15 months. Laura Andrassy, who was married to the “shark” for nearly 3 decades, decided to open up about what she thought of Greg Norman splitting up with Chris Evert. According to her, both Evert and Norman were narcissistic people with immature brains.

“They say opposites attract. Here were two people very much alike – high profile and narcissistic people – and that would make a relationship difficult,” Andrassy said. She also mentioned that the two had decided to marry pretty much in a rush. Andrassy also stated that during their relationship, Evert and Norman started behaving like ‘high school’ kids.

“You know, like in high school. When you just can’t live for five minutes without the other person,” Andrassy said. Norman’s ex-wife tried very hard to save her marriage with him and even said she wanted to work on making things better. She wasn’t even aware of Norman’s romantic interest in another woman. However, her kids had a hunch that something was off about their dad. Nevertheless, Andrassy had no intentions of renewing her romance with Norman for that reason. “No way, Andrassy said, that wouldn’t happen in a million years,” she said.

In another interview, Andrassy mentioned that the tennis superstar was a kind of a person she had never seen before. According to her, Evert came after Norman like a “predator”. She openly blames the tennis pro for nearly destroying her family with Norman and the kids. Moreover, even after moving on in life, Andrassy was worried about the kids having to face another split between their parents. She said, “The kids are the ones who are going to deal with another breakup.”.

Things allegedly started between Norman and Evert when they went on a fishing trip as with their respective spouses. Evert’s husband was Norman’s then-best friend, Andy Mill, and Norman was still married to Andrassy. But soon after they returned, Norman and Evert started boasting about their relationship publicly and decided to divorce their ex-partners. It was hard for Andrassy to bear with it, but she dealt with the situation with all her strength. Moreover, she wished the new couple well after they finally tied the knot.
