‘Can’t Get Any Prettier’: 56-Year-Old John Daly Makes a Powerful Swing While Celebrating Cobra Golf’s 50th Anniversary

John Daly is undoubtedly one of the most talented players on the PGA Tour. The golf star has made millions of fans in his career. And his tournament performances and unfathomable victories are still an inspiration to several young golfers. It is not a new thing for the player to make it to the news for his actions on and off the field. However, this time, he is in the headlines for a very special reason. And it has everything to do with Cobra Golf!

John Daly joins Cobra Golf for its 50th anniversary

Moreover, true fans must know that it has a very special connection with PGA Tour legend, John Daly!

In 1991, the golf star made history with his remarkable win at the PGA Championship at Crooked Stick. And not to mention, Daly used an exceptional 44 1/2 driver designed by, of course, Cobra Golf. And now that it has been 50 long years since the company was started, Daly was invited as a special guest to celebrate the memorable day.

To make things even more interesting, famous media personality, Tisha Alyn, did the honor of hosting the golf event. And how can it not be fun when Daly is on the set? “Congratulations to my @cobragolf fam on celebrating its 50th year anniversary! 🎉 I had the pleasure of hosting & having @PGA_JohnDaly tell us about his win with his ‘92 #Cobra driver,” she tweeted.

The host also shared a few pictures and videos from the day, and Daly and Alyn could be seen trying their hands on the golfer’s famous Cobra driver on a simulator. Putting all his strength into his shot, Daly made a pretty strong hit getting all his fans on the scene rooting for him. However, he faced tough competition from Alyn after she managed to hit a remarkable shot herself. “Damn girl!” the golfer complimented her swing. “That was my big driver back in the day.”

While another clip featured the two having a conversation about Daly’s Cobra club that he used during his famous victory back in 1991. And when asked about his decision to use the Cobra driver, his response had nothing to do with what the fans were expecting. He rather handed both the drinks that he was holding to Alyn and said, “You can’t get any prettier but that’s just you know…”. Well, that’s just classic John Daly for you, living in his own dignitary world!
