Sometimes all we need is to be with nature to heal ourselves. And one-time major winner Danielle Kang, understands this very well. Kang who is about to enter the fifth women’s major championship, the Amundi Evian this week, is enjoying her time off in the lap of nature.
Kang who last appeared in the US Women’s Open is currently enjoying some time off the course after her health scare earlier this year. And from her recent adventure, she has shared a leafy update!

Having health problems holding back their career, is any athlete’s worst nightmare. But often players have to suffer that ill fate because of injuries or various health issues. And Danielle Kang is facing the same fate currently. Hence she has taken some time off to heal herself and is updating her fans with her outdoor activities and it looks like she is having a lot of fun. In her latest Instagram story, Kang shared a picture of her hugging a tree. In a note, she thanked golfer Andrea Lee for taking the picture and wrote “I can’t be the only one that hugs trees”.
Lately, Kang has been enjoying outdoor activities that are allowing her to take her mind off of her health issues. Recently, she shared an adorable video on her Instagram stories where she made some new friends with children while commuting. This year hasn’t been that great for Danielle and she hasn’t won a single tournament. She even got cut at the Open Championship as well, which was a huge disappointment for her fans. Her health issues have been a matter of big concern for the player. However, Kang is making a comeback after her short sabbatical at the Amundi Evian Championship this week, where she will definitely look forward to earning a win.

Last year the LPGA pro participated in the US Women’s Open with a tumor in her spine, after which she took some time off to heal. But she returned to the tour soon, but wasn’t healed completely. And this year again her health continues to bother her.
After withdrawing from LPGA Drive On Championship in Arizona, Kang had to be taken to the emergency room in the month of March. Afterward, the golfer shared more details on her illness through Instagram. She explained that she had a respiratory infection and severe nausea during play because of which she had to withdraw after playing the 14th hole during the first round.
After a year full of hardships, Kang will give her best efforts this week. Perhaps the fifth major championship of women’s golf in France will finally become the event where Kang’s luck will shine.
