After turning pro in 2019, Cameron Davis’ one and only PGA Tour win came in the form of Rocket Mortgage Classic in 2021 when he defeated Troy Merritt and Joaquín Niemann in a playoff. Since then, he has been on a mission to add more wins to his PGA Tour record. After three years he is now in a position to finally end his PGA Tour win drought.
In 2024, the best position David had finished was T12 at the Masters. His performance after that event had gone downhill with two missed cuts and a best finish at T38. But now, the Rocket Mortgage Classic comes to his aid once again as, after three rounds, he is at T3. This is a chance for Davis to finally put an end to his ‘not-going-well’ year. But what are the weapons Davis has been using for his spectacular performance at the Rocket Mortgage Classic?
The Australian has been using equipment from Titleist. For strong drives, the 29-year-old employs the Titleist TSR3 (9 degrees, B3 SureFit setting) paired with a Fujikura Ventus TR Blue 7 X shaft. The Titleist TSR3 driver is one of the most popular models among golfers it’s the number one choice. According to his current PGA Tour stats, his driving accuracy percentage is 63.99.

Coming to his choice of 3-wood, it’s again a Titleist TSR3 connected to a Fujikura Ventus TR Blue 8 X shaft. The fairway wood is lofted at an angle of 15 degrees. A good choice in irons could take you closer to the win or snatch away victory from your hands. This is why Cameron Davis uses 2 irons. One is a Titleist T100 attached to a KBS Tour V 120 X shaft (3-5) and the other is a Titleist 620 CB (6-PW) having the same shaft.
Just like his irons, Davis uses two wedges, the Titleist Vokey Design SM10 (52-12F, 56-14F) and Vokey Design Wedge Works Proto (60-04L). Both of these are connected to the same shaft, True Temper Dynamic Gold Tour Issue S400.

For rolling his ball down the greens, Davis puts his faith in the Scotty Cameron T5.5M which is again from Titleist. Despite this, Davis hasn’t been great at putting recently, as his PGA Tour stats say he is ranked 129th. He has a putting average of 1.773 and, on average, makes 28.89 putts per round.
The grip that the 29-year-old uses for his golf clubs is the Golf Pride’s Tour Velvet Align. Like most of his other equipment, Davis’ choice of golf is also from Titleist, a Pro V1. With these pieces of equipment in his arsenal, Davis has been bringing his A-game to the Rocket Mortgage Classic. But the question is: Will he be able to capitalize? Only time will tell.
