Tiger Woods is one of the best golfers of all time. He has bagged 82 PGA Tours and 15 major championships in his career so far. Moreover, he revolutionized this sport and made it popular across the world. Hence, fans consider Woods to be the best player to have played this sport. 

Notably, Tiger has worked with plenty of coaches in his career so far. However, his coach when he turned pro was the famous golf instructor Butch Harmon. He was with Tiger from 1993 to 2004 and helped him to win eight major championships.

But once, Butch Harmon had called Tiger an arrogant pr**k.

The legendary golf instructor Butch Harmon is probably the most famous name in the golfing world. And during a live chat with his son Claude Harmon, he said Tiger Woods is an arrogant pr**k. However, he meant that in a good way. He says one needs to have this kind of arrogance to be great at what you do.

You’ve got to have a lot of pr**k in you,” revealed Harmon. “Be that kind of a guy when you walk between the ropes. Tiger’s definitely that way. Guys like him just want to cut your heart out,” said Butch. However, he says they will go to dinner later on, or they will have a beer afterward and joke. But when it comes to the game inside, Tiger is serious.

Butch believes even Jack Nicklaus had a similar attitude, and this kind of arrogance is what makes these players great. Furthermore, he revealed the two golfers who he believes have this kind of attitude currently.

“DJ is so laid back, but when he walks between the ropes, he changes, and Brooks is the same way,” says Harmon. Notably, his son Claude Harmon has coached both Dustin Johnson and Brooks Koepka and has helped them immensely in their career.
