It’s no secret that celebrities turn to golf to relax and have some fun. While some try and shoot a few rounds when they have time, some are more dedicated. Actor Mark Wahlberg, who is also in a business partnership with golfer Abraham Ancer seems to fall into the second category.

In a recent video shared, the two stars are seen participating in a chip-off together in Wahlberg’s backyard. The actor has a golf setup done for himself, which might as well be out of some Hollywood movie.

Mark Wahlberg and Abraham Ancer come together for a chip off in the latter’s backyard

“Hi. Welcome everybody to the first annual Flecha Azul chip off,” Wahlberg introduce. It was Wahlberg and Aron Marquez against PGA Tour winner, the former hoping to bag a win against the professional. The 50-year-old actor joked about the professional giving them three extra shots while having only one ball to play.

Later into the video as they discussed their swing and clubs, Wahlberg suggested that Ancer is the only one who has something to lose here as his colleagues can ask him about it.

Ancer also asked Wahlberg about an abandoned truck present on the property which was apparently there when he bought the house. A movie on Ancer’s life was discussed, with either of them unable to decide on an actor for the PGA Tour golfer.

In the end, it was Ancer who won the small event organized for their business. “The pro wins,” they said, adding that it’s boring and everyone knew that was going to happen.
