‘Bunch of Classy People’: Tiger Woods’ Heartwarming Gesture Towards Annika Sorenstam Leaves Golf Fans in Awe of His Chivalry

The non-official PGA event, ‘The Match’ has given many moments we can reminisce for many years. One of the most beautiful moments included Tiger Woods. It was a G.O.A.T. sighted with another G.O.A.T. at the Pelican Golf course. The video has been making rounds on the internet, and the golf community went crazy.

Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy are the top-ranked golfers in the world. However, they lost to Justin Thomas and Jordan Spieth in ‘The Match’ on Saturday night in Florida. The winning team quickly emerged victorious in the 12-hole competition at Pelican Golf Club with a score of 3&2. Woods was rusty; however, he matched Thomas’ birdie on the first hole in the charity competition. 

During his first televised round since the 150th Open Championship 2022, Woods did string together a few good golf shots. However, the 15 times major championship winner has been going through a golf slump since February 2021. He met with a car accident and almost lost his right leg. However, he returned to golf after 14 months at Augusta this year. 

His journey hasn’t been incredible lately, although some special moments have become highlights. And as the new year is right around the corner, a beautiful incident at the Pelican golf club yesterday will become the highlight of 2022.

Mike McGee, Annika Sorenstam’s husband, has posted a golden video on his Twitter handle, featuring Tiger Woods and his wife. Woods was signing autographs when the female legend golfer came into the frame with her son. It was a heart-stopping moment when the former LPGA pro gave Woods a warm hug.

We saw them talking while Sorenstam introduced her son, Will, to the former number-one golfer. The golf community said they couldn’t decide what they loved more. Tiger’s face lighted up when he saw the female star golfer introducing himself to Will. People also appreciated this fantastic era of golf, where two excellent golfers existed together.
