Bud Cauley quietly climbed the leaderboard to usurp Chad Ramey from the top spot. Carding six birdies in a bogey-free 6-under 65, Cauley holds the overnight lead at the PGA National. This was his second sub-70 score after the opening round, 5-under-66.

The PGA Tour Pro is carrying an all-Titelist bag at the PGA National. The financial details of Cauley’s partnership with Titleist are not known. Regardless, let’s take a look inside his golf bag as the 33-year-old continues his ascent on the Cognizant Classic leaderboard.

Cauley carries a Titleist TSR2  driver with a Fujikura Ventus Black 6x Ventus shaft. The PGAT PRO uses a 9-degree loft with an A1 sure-fit setting.  The TSR2 is priced at $599 in the US market. In his fairway woods, Cauley picks Titleist TSR3 with an Aldila shaft. He uses a 15-degree loft with a D4 Surefit setting. For TSR3, you need to spend $599.

Alongside the 3-wood, the 33-year-old has the Titleist TSi2 (18 degrees, A1 SureFit setting) 5-wood in his bag with an Aldila Rogue Black 130 MSI 80 TX shaft. The Tsi2 is worth $549. For irons, the Jacksonville resident uses a Titleist T200 4-iron with a True Temper Dynamic Gold Tour Issue shaft. For 5-9-irons, Cauley has his eyes set on Titleist 620 MB. The latter comes for $175.

Next in his bag is the Titleist Vokey Design SM10 (46,52 loft) wedge. Cauley also carries a Vokey Design WedgeWorks (60-K) with a 56-degree loft. For shafts, True Temper Dynamic Gold Tour Issue S400 is his preferred choice. Cauley, however, remains faithful to Scotty Cameron.

Cauley’s favorite putter is a traditional one

Bud Cauley was using the Scotty Cameron Putter at the Cognizant Classic. That T9 has been his staple for a long time. Notably, Cauley is 2nd in SG: Putting in the ongoing tournament. His total number of 13 birdies across two rounds also puts him on top of the leaderboard in that front. Along with these, the 33-year-old also uses a Titleist Pro V1 golf ball.

Leading up to the Cognizant Classic, perhaps no one saw Bud Cauley coming. After all, the University of Alabama alum stepped on the greens after four and a half years hiatus at the WM Phoenix Open. Cauley suffered a single-car accident in 2018 that put a large question about his future. The PGA Tour pro returned only to withdraw once again. This was his second start in more than four years.
