The 2X Masters Champion, Bubba Watson resigned from the PGA Tour on August 10, 2022, and joined the breakaway league in July 2022 as a non-playing team captain while he recovered from a torn meniscus. The American has been using PING clubs since receiving a junior set at eight. He hates changing equipment as he once mentioned, so it’s truly good for him that he has signed a lifetime sponsorship deal with the brand.
He is among the six members who were in the drop zone after the 2024 season. This resulted in his relegation but he could be invited back in LIV purely for business reasons. The 45-year-old is now making his best swings on the Asian Tour. Here’s a look at what he carries in his bag.A peak of Bubba Watson’s PING arsenal
Bubba Watson has an exceptional driving distance and ranks 11th on the list, with an average yardage of 313. This has been made possible with his PING G430 LST driver with a 9-degree loft. It helps in accelerating ball speed with reduced spin. Watson equips it with the Grafalloy Bi-Matrix X prototype shaft (pink) shaft. These are available at $579.99.
For the fairway woods, he uses the PING G430 Max three wood with a loft angle of 15 degrees. Watson equips it with the Project X HZRDUS Smoke Black RDX 80 shaft. This gives out a big stance gain and a high launch for a good game of golf. These are available at $399.
For the irons, Bubba Watson opts for the set of PING Blueprint S irons (3-PW), all fitted with the True Temper Dynamic Gold X100 shaft. These are priced between $1,274.99 and $1,699.99 and are known to give out the perfect forgiveness with a score-lowering performance.
What does he use when things get tricky and he needs to make careful shots? Let us see.

For the wedges, he opts for three PINGg Glide 2.0 wedges: 52°, 56°, and 60°; all of them are equipped with the True Temper Dynamic Gold X100 shaft. The Glide 2.0 Wedges were introduced in 2017 and are no longer available on their official websites. However, players who are already using it can repair or adjust the clubs by submitting a request using the Club Repair Form.
Bubba Watson has a total putting average of 1.63, which makes him rank in the top 50 of the list. He has been able to achieve this with the Ping PLD Anser D prototype putter, which is priced at $449.99. This gives the perfect mobility to strike the ball when it is stuck on the lip of the hole. Just like most other golfing pros, he completes his kit with the Titleist Pro V1x.
For shoes, he relies on Footjoy, and for apparel, he proudly is an ambassador of Linksoul. What are your thoughts on Bubba Watson’s golf kit? Let us know in the comments section below!
