BTS’ V Spends an Insane Amount on a Luxurious Golf Suite

As a hobby, golf is popular among celebrities. One of the most recent additions to this seems to be BTS’ Kim Taehyung (also known as V). The 26-year-old singer has shared numerous clips and photos of himself playing golf, generating a certain level of curiosity amongst fans.

With the group currently in Las Vegas, Taehyung seems to have taken to practicing golf in the USA. The Sweet Night singer ended up sharing a short clip of himself practicing his shot on Twitter, while also adding a few photos of himself on a course.

While fans were elated for some back-to-back Taehyung content, they seemed interested in knowing about his venue.

Where did BTS’ Kim Taehyung play golf in Las Vegas?

According to a few fans online, V played at an establishment called ‘Topgolf’ in Las Vegas. Looking at the clip he shared, the artist apparently stayed at the venue’s Chairman’s Suite, which can cost up to $8000 for three hours.

Described as the ultra-VIP experience, the suite is said to be frequented by celebrities.

What exactly is Topgolf?

As per their site, Topgolf is a ‘technology-enabled global sports and entertainment community’. They work on connecting people in various ways, working on experiences they create. A focus of their work is to enhance golf, which is a way for people from various parts of the world to connect. With the help of Topgolf, one can now combine technology and golf.

Looking at how Taehyung has previously shared stories and clips while playing on a simulator, Topgolf feels like the perfect choice for the idol.

Taehyung’s video itself covers a small part of the room, the focus is completely on his swing and form.

Though Taehyung has seldom spoken about the details of his game, he has admitted to practicing with a 7-iron. A popular choice among beginners, the South Korean sensation has previously also admitted to being a rookie himself. Typically, it will drive the ball at a distance of 120 yards.

This time, however, he joked about his skill, and even referred to himself as a ‘golf genius’. Furthermore, he even tagged PGA Tour star, Rory McIlroy, stating that he is looking for a McIlroy to take a genius like him.

Why did Taehyung start playing golf?

As per Taehyung himself, he started playing golf because of his father. “My dad said it’s his wish to go out in the field and play golf with his son so it’s been 3 weeks since I started playing/learning,” Taehyung wrote.

Since then, the second-eldest BTS member has been consistently posting updates on Instagram or Twitter. Of course, fans believe that Taehyung will only get better in time. On top of that, it will be amazing to see Taehyung play on an actual golf course as well.
