POTUS Joe Biden’s debate on golf handicaps. While Biden claimed his handicap was once a 6 and has now dropped to an 8, Trump called it out as the biggest lie during the official Presidential debate just hours ago. On the other hand, giving the sport a shoutout worked wonders for the golf world.

Many big names were amused by the banter, and just when Hailey Rae Ostrom opined that Bryson DeChambeau should be the next president, the 2-time U.S. Open winner gave his two cents on the debate as well. Taking to X, the 30-year-old suggested a fun way to end the debate about who had a better handicap between Trump and Biden.

A close friend of the former president, as evidenced by multiple sightings together and even Trump video calling DeChambeau, the LIV star suggested a match. He took it upon himself to solve this heated debate and said, Let’s settle this whole handicap debate, I’ll host the golf match on my YouTube @realDonaldTrump @JoeBiden.” Although, as of right now, this is only a far fetched dream, who do you think would win the tournament, Trump or Biden?

Interestingly, it was not just Bryson DeChambeau who had that idea. Apparently, Biden himself claimed that he had asked the former POTUS to play a game of golf with him. As per him, Trump has yet to agree to his request. But now, with DeChambeau as the middle man, will this plan pan out? And if so, will we see the two-time major winner on the course alongside yet another president?

How likely is it that Bryson DeChambeau pulls off the Trump-Biden show?

It is no secret that DeChambeau and Trump have played some good golf together. Alongside the LIV star and the PIF’s chairman, Yasir Al-Rumayyan, the 45th president even showed off his driving skills at his golf course in Bedminster for the LIV Golf Pro-Am earlier this year. If DeChambeau were to arrange a match between Trump and Biden, it’s safe ti saw that onboarding the former president would be an easier feat.

Surprisingly, convincing Joe Biden to agree might not be too difficult either. After all, DeChambeau has been a current fan favorite and enjoys a huge following on various social media, with only his subscribers on his YouTube account going for 7.89K. Given his increasing popularity after winning the 124th U.S. Open, Biden’s social team might have a difficult time declining DeChambeau’s request, which would no doubt be a beneficial way to get the masses on their side.

So, an 18-hole stroke play match between the POTUS and his predecessor might just be on the cards. Who would you bet on? Trump with a handicap of 2.5? Or Biden with that of 8? Tell us in the comments below!
