Bryson DeChambeau and Brooks Koepka are considered to be one of the most fierce rivals in the world of golf. Both golfers have previously shared their displeasure. With the list of the richest golfers of 2022 released by Forbes, we take a look at who out of both competitors, finished above the other on the list.

Both golfers joined the LIV Golf simultaneously during the second event in Portland. Despite the criticism, the golfers have moved on with the Saudi-backed Golf Tour and enjoyed a profitable 9-figure contract.
The annual list of the richest golfers was released by Forbes earlier this week. DeChambeau seems to have to overcome his arch-rival by a few million dollars to become the third richest golfer.
Bryson DeChambeau richer than Brooks Koepka?
Bryson DeChambeau had reportedly signed a deal worth $125 million with the Saudi-backed Golf Tour, while his old foe Brooks Koepka signed a comparatively lesser deal worth $100 million. However, both golfers will receive the guaranteed amount.
This has helped the duo in elevating their net worth and climbing up the ladders of the richest in the sport. DeChambeau became the third richest golfer while earning $66 million on the golf course with LIV Golf. He made $20 million off the sport thanks to his endorsement deal with Puma. With both combined, the Scientist’s net worth stands at an astonishing amount of $86 million.

On the other hand, Brooks Koepka made a total of $69 million. This includes the $53 million he made on the course and the rest of the $13 million off the course with Nike. The 4-time major champion was only placed one position below his frenemy Bryson DeChambeau.

Only Phil Mickelson and Dustin Johnson, who also are part of the LIV Golf, finished above the Ryder Cup teammates. According to Forbes, LIV Golf has increased the collective earnings of the top 10 players by an estimated $370 million since May, setting a record total of $650 million. Only Tiger Woods, Rory McIlroy, and Jordan Spieth were part of the list who were not among the LIV Golf defectors.

DeChambeau and Koepka have previously been on the same team representing Team USA at the 2021 Ryder Cup. Despite their past differences, the duo helped Team USA in prevailing the Ryder Cup. Now, being captains of their respective teams in the LIV Golf, it will be exciting to see the leadership skills of both rivals.
