Bryson DeChambeau’s friendship with the 47th President is surely benefiting his granddaughter Kai Trump a ton. Previously, the junior golfer teed up with DeChambeau before Donald Trump’s huge collaboration with the LIV Golf Pro. And now, although the 2-time US Open winner wasn’t actually there to tie it up with Kai Trump, his club came in handy for the 17-year-old golfer.

For the last two weeks, Kai Trump has been posting quite often on her new YouTube channel and sharing tidbits about her life. Her recent video was of her visiting the Trump National Bedminster Golf Club, where she was playing after a few years as she lived mostly in New York or Florida. There, Trump got her hand on DeChambeau’s winning putter from the 2024 US Open, which helped him earn $4.3 million.

As she prepared for her game, she revealed, “I’m going to be using Bryson DeChambeau’s putter today.” Her cameraman jokingly asked her if she had just stolen it from him. To which Kai Trump humorously replied, “This is, yeah, stole it from him, the US Open yeah winning putter right here.” She hilariously accepted the allegation and soon went on to play it around. Kai Trump explained that DeChambeau had twisted the grip because it helped him play better, and she hoped that it would help her too.

It sort of did as she played three holes and parred one, but she desperately wanted to do the US Open winning celebration by DeChambeau and then bogeyed another. Although the putter was bigger than what she usually uses, on her last par-4 hole, the 17-year-old golfer gave a chance for another birdie. However, she celebrated like DeChambeau despite a par putt and ended her vlog.

Just as her grandpa and DeChambeau have a great relationship, Kai also shares a friendship with the LIV Golf Pro, and it just shows how supportive he is of her.

Recently, the 17-year-old junior golfer celebrated her school’s Buccaneers winning the district champions trophy. And there as well, Kai showed some of her exceptional parts of the game. It is quite apparent that the young golfer is a prodigy at the game of golf and wants to pursue it in the future.

And courtesy of her grandfather’s passion for golf, Kai Trump could also play in the company of pros like Bryson DeChambeau and even 3x world long drive champion Kyle Berkshire. You may rarely see a 2-time US Open winner giving away compliments in the comments, but when Kai posted a video of her hitting a drive shot, even he was impressed, as he admiringly said, “Pure.”

Not only him, but Berkshire also praised the youngster and said, “Game is looking great, Kai!” As Bryson DeChambeau has gotten pretty close with the 47th President, Donald Trump, it would not be wrong to assume that Kai Trump, instead of his putter, may collaborate with him soon.
