Last month, the US Team secured a 19-9 victory at the Ryder Cup. While the team’s talent impressed viewers worldwide, the team also seemed to have bonded over the few weeks they spent together. Looking at Bryson DeChambeau and Scottie Scheffler’s recent interaction on Instagram, the players seem to have carried forward that fun element with them.

Scheffler and DeChambeau played two matches together, winning one and losing one. DeChambeau has created a name for himself with his game, which includes his 2020 US Open win. On the other hand, Scheffler wowed everyone at the Ryder Cup with his singles victory over World No. 1 Jon Rahm.

Bryson DeChambeau responds to Scottie Scheffler’s fun jab on Instagram

Golf Digest’s Daniel Rapaport recently shared a small snippet about the Ryder Cup team. According to Scheffler, DeChambeau was the Android guy on their team. While that might not be a problem otherwise, it did cause an inconvenience for their group chat. “Our (Ryder Cup) group chat was kind of a pain in the butt,” he said. “Because Bryson was the only one without an iPhone”.

Scheffler seemed to take the whole thing to the next level. He posted the same tweet on Instagram, tagging DeChambeau to draw out a response.

Of course, DeChambeau was great at Whistling Straits, scoring 2-0-1 overall. Scheffler, who played with DeChambeau, scored the same.

Naturally, the 28-year-old was not going to let Scheffler’s remark pass. He shared the story, confident that his phone captures better videos and photos.

Fans also reacted to Rapaport’s tweet on Twitter. Many were unsurprised that it was DeChambeau who messed up their group chat. “I really am becoming full Team Bryson,” wrote another fan, sold at the idea of him using Android. Fans joked a little about which phone can be better, all loving the little banter between the players.

DeChambeau has been in the news recently because of his upcoming The Match against Brooks Koepka. Their feud has always gained attention, having softened a little bit after the Ryder Cup. Scheffler himself will be playing at the Shriners Hospital, looking to build on his Ryder Cup success.
