The golf world is still contemplating whether the new LIV Golf league is inevitable for the sport or not. However, it has surely brought excitement to the Mad Scientist, Bryson DeChambeau.
LIV Golf has recruited many prominent players from the PGA and the DP World Tour, and the 28-year-old is one of them. He took over captaincy of the Team Crushers and is already winning the heart of the latest member with his enthusiastic welcome message!

“Congratulations, Paul Casey,” DeChambeau said in a pre-recorded video to welcome the English golfer to LIV Golf. “I’m so stoked to have you on Team Crushers. Let’s go, baby!”
“Huge, huge deal,” DeChambeau further added. “And an awesome golfer and an even better person. I love you, dude. Let’s kill through the rest of this year.”

The excitement in the Mad Scientist’s voice made Casey smile throughout the video. Only time can tell whether his team will win an event this year or not. However, he sure can make his team members pumped up with his motivational words.
Paul Casey will make his LIV Golf debut in Bedminster
“I will see you at Trump Bedminster,” one of the longest drivers in the golf said before concluding his welcome message to Casey. Even the current world no. 26 confirmed he would participate in the next event of the league.
However, the Trump National Golf Club of Bedminster would not be his first competition after being a LIV Golf player. He will tee off at the JP McManus Manor on July 4 and play in the 150th Open Championship at St. Andrews next week.
Notably, the Open Championship will be Casey’s first major competition to attend this year. He has been on a hiatus since March after suffering from back spasms.
Bryson DeChambeau – LIV Golf career
Bryson DeChambeau has signed with LIV golf, reportedly for $100 million. He debuted at the league at its Portland event.

As a new addition, the 1-time major champion played well, finishing with a solo 10th rank. His 3 bogeys and 6 birdies from the 54-holes helped him secure an overall 2-under 214. Furthermore, he won $560,000 for his effort to secure the 10th in the LIV event.
Notably, his team could only secure 9th among all 12 teams and thus, couldn’t win the prize money. Only the top three teams would win the $5 million purse.
With Paul Casey’s addition, DeChambeau is planning to win a league event.
