Bryson DeChambeau is one of the most well-known players in the golf world. The 28-year-old recently joined the LIV Golf Tour leaving behind his PGA Tour career as per Jay Monahan’s statement. All the players who transitioned to the LIV Golf series, are slowly coming to peace with the fact that they might no longer be able to play in the PGA Tour ever again. However, DeChambeau has a different outlook on the situation.

Bryson DeChambeau makes a claim regarding PGA’s ban
In an interview with Tucker Carlson on Fox News, golf professional DeChambeau said kept forward his thoughts about PGA’s ban on LIV Golf players. He said, “[The ban] doesn’t make sense,… I’m not worried about it. I think it will get figured out.” He also said that the issue will get resolved “pretty shortly”.
"I personally know it will get figured out, whether it's legally or they come to the table and work out terms."

DeChambeau’s point was clear, but he went on further to say how the situation is “so weird” for him. He used a unique “pizza” analogy to explain the situation. “You have a pizza shop that’s been in existence for 50 years and all the customers go to it and it’s a great product,” said DeChambeau. “All of a sudden, a new pizza shop opens up… and that pizza is potentially a little bit better of a pizza. And then,… that original pizza house goes, ‘If you go over there, we’re banning you from ever coming back to our pizza shop.”

His analogy was about the PGA Tour’s sudden ban in reaction to their players joining the LIV Golf Tour. PGA seemingly did this to prevent its players from joining the rival league. But it hasn’t seemed to work since a lot of players still joined the LIV Golf league long after the ban was imposed.

DeChambeau states his reasons behind joining LIV Golf
Most players joined the LIV Golf league due to the money it was offering. It was made clear after Bryson DeChambeau honestly called joining the league “a business decision”. He said, “There was a lot of financials to it and a lot of time. I get to have a life outside of golf… It’s not my decision to make [PGA Tour suspension]”

Reports said that LIV Golf made a $100 million deal with DeChambeau to join in. A lot of players have given up their PGA Tour legacy to join the new league. However, DeChambeau is not worried about it since he is going to “have a new legacy” for himself. He also said that he would love to be a part of PGA Tour events as well.
