His strength hasn’t only helped him look good, but his game has gotten a lot better too. However, in his match against Brooks Koepka, DeChambeau’s game was not up to the mark. He recently described his equation with Koepka, after both of them joined the LIV Golf league.

Bryson DeChambeau defines his current relationship with Brooks Koepka

DeChambeau does not have many friends in the golf community. He once described himself as an introvert, and always had his guard up. But things got even worse for him after his controversial feud with Brooks Koepka. However, in his recent interview on a podcast, DeChambeau sounded a lot different while talking about Koepka.

In an episode of the ‘Bob Does Sports Podcast’, the host asked DeChambeau about his present terms with Koepka. DeChambeau’s response to the question was completely unexpected. He said“Personally, I have the utmost respect for him, and the decision he made moving to LIV…I think we both respect each other a lot more now,”

The golfer continued to talk about the decision of moving to LIV Golf and said that “it was not an easy decision” to make. He also said that there was a chance that it would not work out for both of them and they might lose everything. He also added that he was not very close to Koepka, but the two had “no issues” with each other anymore.

Why did DeChambeau move to LIV Golf?

Bryson DeChambeau holds many records on the PGA Tour. But he was among the first few players to move to LIV Golf and leave the PGA Tour. The golfer made it clear in his interviews that his decision to transition to the new tour was “money led”. He said that it was a “business decision” and that LIV Golf had better “financials” to it. However, in his later interviews, he expressed his wish to play at the PGA Tour events as well. But as per the ban imposed on LIV Golf players, they are not allowed to participate in the PGA Tour events, for now.
