Sporting nothing short of a daring approach to his life on and off the course, John Daly has always tried to uphold his golfing dreams again and again. He has not disappointed his fans once more as the senior pro was seen putting up a brilliant performance at the 2023 Sanford International.

Although the 57-year-old has been at the end of many concerning health issues, he has not shied away from living his life both in and outside golf. And, sharing in his happiness on his road to success is his own beloved daughter as she took to her Instagram in support of the “KING”!

John Daly’s daughter expresses her support for her father

Daly has taken to the Minnehaha Country Club while vying for a cut of the $2 million prize pool and the title. The golfer was seen putting up an amazing performance during the second round of the tournament. And, his daughter, Shynah Hale Daly, couldn’t be happier about it as she took to her social media handle.

In an Instagram story uploaded by the professional’s daughter, she is seen cheering her father on for his stunning showcase during the event. Sharing the screenshot of the scorecard with the caption “Let’s go KING!!”, the 5X PGA Tour winner’s child made sure to put forth words of affirmation for the same.

The two-time major winner is currently tied for the fourth position at 10-under, with KJ Choi and Robert Karlsson, at the end of the second day. Although the pro is in danger of losing out on the title, the story was shared when the senior pro was leading the scorecard at T1 with a 5-under in the 12th hole.

Nevertheless, this has not stopped shydaly from posting expressions of support for her golfing father, especially after he has made a successful return to the game a little while ago after his health issues. And, this is not the first time she has taken to her Instagram to share her love for her father’s dreams.

Daly’s daughter keeps her father’s passion alive

Shynah Hale Daly shared an Instagram post on her handle not too long ago indicating her interest in music, something that her father took an interest in when he was young. The series of pictures shows her taking part in a rock gig contributing her part to music just like her golfer dad. The PGA Tour pro has been known for his immense interest in the field as is evident from the number of times he has covered ‘Knockin’ On Heaven’s Door’ by Bob Dylan, among others.

The golf pro had been hit with a lot of health concerns over the past couple of years. Daly was diagnosed with bladder cancer in 2020 after which he underwent surgery for cancer leading to rehabilitation. Moreover, he also had a full knee replacement surgery after two years in 2022. Even so, the 57-year-old has made nothing short of a successful comeback to the game as can be seen from his performance at the ongoing event.
