The golf world is pumped for this weekend as the Ryder Cup awaits on Italian ground. All eyes are set on this year’s matchplay as America prepares to claim a win on European soil. Brooks Koepka, the only LIV Golf player playing for the Ryder Cup this year, is all set to take the greens. Ahead of the matchplay this Friday, it is time we take a sneak peek into his equipment kit and see what the golfer will be carrying to the course.

Koepka is a brand aficionado. The 33-year-old hasn’t looked back since signing a full-bag equipment deal with Cleveland/Srixon in 2022. His current equipment has brought him some wins in the past, validating his stance on the greens, and he may intend to take his lucky charms to the Ryder fields as well.

The American golfer will be carrying irons worth nearly $2500 to his game this time. For the shots on the greens, the numbered irons in his kit will include Nike Vapor Pro (3) priced at $519, Srixon ZX7 Mk II (4-9) Fujikura Pro Tour Spec 95 X (3) costing $1,675, and True Temper Dynamic Gold Tour Issue X100 (4-PW) at $304.

For short-distance shots, Koepka has chosen to go with wedges like Cleveland RTX ZipCore Tour Rack Raw (46-10 Mid), RTX6 ZipCore Tour Rack (52-10 Mid, 56-10 Mid, 60-6 Low), and True Temper Dynamic Gold Tour Issue S400.

Kopeka is all pumped up for the weekend’s patriotic matchplay

Koepka, who recently debuted his new mullet hairstyle, has now joined Cameron Smith as a mullet golfer. This hairstyle has been popular in the golf world for some time now, and to Koepka’s delight, he refers to it as the “Freedom Flow” mullet. On the greens, his teammate Sam Burns also plans to sport a mullet with the word ‘USA’ scribbled on the side

Koepka has gained attention as Caption Johnson’s choice for the Ryder Cup team due to his connection to the LIV Golf League. His selection to the team was based on his matchplay performance at the Masters, US Open, and PGA Championship. What remains to be seen is how well he performs on European soil.
