Golf can be a very lonely sport at times, with one concentrating on the game and trying to negate all the other factors in your surroundings. Most of the time, in order to win, players become single-minded and enjoy less. However, sometimes, they enjoy friendly competition and try to lighten up on the course. Brooks Koepka and Justin Thomas have a personal bet for the most hole-outs in the 2022 season. It will be interesting to see who wins?

Brooks Koepka and Justin Thomas enjoy a bet in a golf tournament
Brooks Koepka is an American golfer famous for his huge hits off the tee. Koepka is arguably one of the best hitters of the golf ball of all time. He is the former world number one and held the position for 48 weeks. He is a four-time major championship winner. The big American finished the 2022 Sentry Tournament of Champions with an overall score of 15 under par. Result; tied for the 28th position. He shot a final-round 69.

The first hole out for the 2022 PGA Tour season came at the opening tournament of the year, Sentry Tournament of Champions, held at the Plantation Course in Kapalua, Hawai. The first hole out was hit by, one and only, Brooks Koepka. Koepka made the hole out from 132 yards at the par 4 third hole at the Plantation course. Justin Thomas had placed a bet with Brooks on which player will have the most hole-outs for the 2022 season. Apparently, Brooks has drawn the first blood. One could see Brooks smiling after the hole out.

Cameron Smith wins at Kapalua
The Aussie won the 2022 Sentry Tournament of Champions in an empathic style. Smith lead throughout the tournament resulting in him becoming the winner. Smith shot consecutive rounds in the low 60’s and won with an overall score of 34 under par which is the lowest in a 72-holes tournament in the PGA Tour. Cam smith won his 4th PGA Tour title.
