Like father, like son – it’s a phrase that Jena Sims, Brooks Koepka’s better half, is hoping will ring true for their young son, Crew. Sims has always been open about her desire for Crew to follow in his father’s footsteps and take up golf. She’s often shared adorable photos and videos of Crew playing with plastic golf clubs, and even taking flights to golf events to watch his dad in action.
In her latest Instagram post, Sims shared a heartwarming video of Crew, captioned “We aren’t going to force golf on our son. He gets to decide.” The video then shows a montage of clips showing Crew playing with golf clubs, chasing after balls, and even spending time on the field with his father. Despite Sims’s assertion that they won’t force golf on Crew, it’s clear that the young boy is already being exposed to the sport and seems to be enjoying it. His decision, after all!
Sims’ approach to introducing Crew to golf is not only adorable but also a testament to the loving and supportive environment she and Keopka are creating for him. By sharing these special moments, Sims is giving fans a glimpse into their family’s life and showing how golf is not just a sport, but a way to bond and create memories.

The comments section of her post is filled with fans gushing over the video, praising the couple for being amazing parents, and eagerly anticipating Crew’s future in golf.
Fans are in awe of the Crew’s cuteness
Ever since Crew was born, golf fans have always been smitten with his cuteness, and the latest pictures of him golfing with Brooks Koepka have only added to the adoration. “It’s how it starts. Then you get an 11-year-old that beats you every time”, said one fan while the other said, “The cutest little golfer I ever did see 😍.” The pictures Sims posted on her Instagram story a few days ago showed Crew golfing with his dad. The American golfer enjoys the offseason and spends quality time with his family.
The snaps are too cute to handle, with Crew playing with his small golf club, wearing a white T-shirt and shorts, and even retrieving the golf ball from the hole while Koepka watches him with pride. One fan said, “Adorable!”, while the other said, “This kid killlllls me 😍.” One netizen wrote, “Go Crew! See you at the Par 3 in April!”
What’s your perspective on:
Is Crew Koepka the next golf prodigy, or just a cute kid enjoying his dad's passion?
Have an interesting take?
Crew was born as a pre-mature baby, and had to spend his first few days in NICU. His first appearance on the course was at the 2024 Masters, and he truly loved it. He then also made many cute appearances and LIV events and also surprised his dad when he went to defend his PGA Championship title last year. This year too, fans would be eagerly waiting to see him in his adorable caddie outfit, running around Augusta at the Par-3 content.
“My heart is full!” wrote one person. Truly, whose heart wouldn’t be after seeing such infectious clips of baby Crew? While many fans were expressing their happiness on seeing Crew play golf this one fan was more worried about something else. “Does your son still have to wear the headgear?”
Well, there hasn’t been any official announcement from Brooks Koepka or Jena Sims on whether Crew has stopped wearing his protective helmet, which was used to treat Flat Head Syndrome and torticollis caused by his premature birth. The helmet was a temporary solution, and Sims had previously shared updates on Crew’s progress, even adding a personal touch by decorating the helmet with Koepka’s team name.
We wish Crew all the best in his health and future endeavors, and we’re excited to see what’s next for the Koepka family. Are you?
