Golfers share great bonds on and off the course, but not always. There are situations where golfers don’t share the greatest of bonds due to the rivalry on the field. The feud starts at the field and eventually gets deeper with time beyond the course. The same case happened with Brooks Koepka multiple times. Earlier, Koepka and Bryson DeChambeau were in the news for their feud, which started with the 2019 Dubai Desert Classic, where DeChambeau was mocked for his slow play by Koepka.

While it continued over social media where DeChambeau was seen passing comments to a fellow golfer, now it has been settled between the two, as they moved to the same league. However, after DeChambeau, Koepka has a bitter relationship with his former teammate. With the recent update on the friendship, it is not showing any sign of getting back on track. Even on the special day of his ex-teammate, Brooks Koepka didn’t show up, which was shocking, but he stated a clear sign.

There has been a long conflict between the two, Brooks Koepka and Matthew Wolff. It started with a feud when Koepka commented on Wolff’s work ethic. However, it has been increasing and there have been many incidents where their bitterness can be seen as Koepka shared the reality of the bond during interviews and his no-show confirmed it.

Peter Uihlein, a fellow LIV golfer, was also present at the evening and even Wolff reshared his store congratulating the newly married couple. But the statements made by Brooks Koepka about Wolff are now turning true.

According to the interview shared by Golf Week, Koepka was very clear about the bond coming to an end. When asked, he said, “We don’t have much interaction, no.” Further adding to the questions, he stated, “I’ve tried. I’ve spent the majority of the beginning of the year trying to help and trying to figure that out. But I think it’s past its point. I’ve tried. I’ve been very open with it. Sometimes you can’t help people that don’t want help.”

Other than the feud between the two being far from over, some friendships are patching up even after years of feud. Yes, you read it right. Bryson DeChambeau and Brooks Koepka are a great example of it as both players are now sharing a great bond. Now they both will be even teaming up to represent LIV Golf at ‘The Showdown.’

From feud to teaming up for LIV Golf, Bryson DeChambeau and Brooks Koepka

Both Koepka and DeChambeau were playing together at the PGA Tour when the feud began and continued even after the course as well. But since they both joined LIV, the bond has been better and they have been praising each other. During an interview with Golf Digest, Koepka was seen praising his fellow golfer and sharing how everyone misunderstood him. For which he shared, “Look, we all get older, we all mature a little bit, and then you realize, hey, Bryson’s a good dude. I think he’s severely misunderstood, and I think the world is actually starting to really see who Bryson DeChambeau is, which is cool. I’m the first person to admit it; I was wrong with what my original thoughts were.”
