Brooke Henderson started her 2023 season with a victory at the Hilton Grand Vacations Tournament of Champions in January. However, as the season progressed, Henderson could not grab any other victory after the head start.
Her recent performance at the Maybank Championship had her tied for sixth. Now playing at The ANNIKA by Gainbridge at Pelican, Henderson is leading the leaderboard with one stroke of 8 under 62 after the first round. In 2022, Brooke Henderson signed a deal with TaylorMade to use their balls. However, in January 2023, TaylorMade signed a full contract with Henderson, hence the golfer now has 14 clubs at the prestigious company.
For the driver, Henderson chose Stealth 2 Plus with a 9-degree loft. Moreover, for fairway 3-woods (15 degrees) and 5-woods (18 degrees), the Canadian also stuck with the Stealth 2 Plus. As the 13x LPGA Tour winner said, “As a player, consistency with my driver and control with my irons are key. I love hitting driver because power is a big part of my game, and Stealth 2 Plus has helped me add distance, which is always great.”
The drivers help in aggressive shots and give high swing with maximum launch. With an ultimate adjustable hosel, the driver is efficient for people looking for better speed. For hybrid, she uses the Stealth 2 Rescue with a 22-degree loft.
In addition, for irons, Henderson chose TaylorMade P.790 5-PW, which gives her flexibility, high ball speed, and more forgiveness. For wedges, the 2x major champion uses the TaylorMade Milled Grind 3 with 50, 54, and 60 degrees of loft.

A putter that had Henderson’s heart as she said, “I really love the feel of it,” is the Spider GT Center Shaft putter. The same club with which she made the 12-foot putt earlier this year. Henderson’s journey started with a TaylorMade TP5x Golf ball and a glove, she has stuck with the same till now.

Commenting on the performances of the ball, Henderson said, “The TP5x performed at a high level. I gained yardage off the tee, which is huge for me, while I still was able to have the right amount of spin and great feel around the greens.” As she prepares for the second round at Pelican, it will be a treat to see Henderson end the season on the same note as she started.
