NUCLR Golf, a prominent golf account on Twitter, recently made a tweet about the same. He wrote, “Cam Smith and Marc Leishman are heading to LIV Golf, according to fellow Australian golfer Cam Percy, who finished T8 at the Wyndham. ‘Unfortunately, yeah, they’re gone.’ Percy said the deals are already done to RSN Radio Australia.”

Moreover, a few reports suggest that these two golfers will join the LIV golf team after the FedExCup playoffs. Smith and Leishman are probably waiting for this season to finish so that they can have a fresh beginning in the Saudi-backed rival league.

Additionally, Cameron Smith is 2nd in the FedExCup rankings, while Marc Leishman is 62nd. Hence, logically, it is clever of both these golfers to compete in the FedExCup playoffs first and then join LIV Golf.
