Athletes in the sporting world have an enormous amount of respect for each other. However, such love and admiration are not just confined to the players in the community but also to the different games that they are playing. The same became the case with LPGA icon Charley Hull as she came out this time to flaunt her appreciation for something besides golf.

The English professional is known for her exceptional skills on the course and her love for the game. However, a recent update on social media went ahead to amaze her fans and the community alike, as the player’s affection for golf did not stop her from exploring boxing, and that too the much-anticipated Tyson Fury-Francis Ngannou match!

Charley Hull spends time at an MMA match

Although Hull has not managed to register a win on her record this year, the professional has been very consistent in her performance. In the Aramco Team Series Individual event in Riyadh, boasting a prize pool of $1, the golfer finished at T5 after the second round, scoring 65, and 67 on the two days. However, after a tiring day on the course, the athlete turned to another sport, boxing, to enjoy her free time.

A story was uploaded to the 2X LPGA Tour champ’s Instagram handle which showcases a video of her attending a match in Saudi Arabia. The recording showcases the audience along with the fighter, Simon Kean on-screen as the camera pans from one side of the stadium to the other.

The 3X LET winner had gone to watch the bout between Fury and Ngannou in Riyadh. However, Kean and Joseph Parker fought it out in the undercard of the much-awaited match.

The contest saw Parker, a former WBO champion, defeat his opponent with a right uppercut as the scheduled 10-round fight on the undercard was cut short in the third round with 1:09 to go. However, the main fight saw Fury top Ngannou by a narrow split decision and emerge victorious.

However, her love for the fighting sport was not something that came suddenly out of the blue. The star has been known to be married to an MMA icon herself.

Charley Hull’s love affair with MMA fighter

Hull started dating MMA fighter Ozzie Smith a few years ago. In 2019, the couple announced their marriage which followed them tying the knot on the 23rd of September.

However, a happy ending did not seem to be in the cards for the two athletes as many of the couple’s fans noticed that they did not have any pictures of themselves together on Instagram. Moreover, the LPGA icon’s 2023 Valentine’s Day picture of herself coupled with her silence on the matter drew a lot of speculation from her followers.
