Before the golfers make their way to Rome for the Ryder Cup, there is a pitstop they need to make: the BMW PGA Championship. The DP World Tour event is currently in full swing at Wentworth Club. The three rounds of the tournament are done, and on top of the leaderboard sits Ryder Cup rookie Ludvig Aberg.

Luke Donald’s decision to pick Aberg or other underperforming players over other experienced or well-performing players was criticized a lot, especially by one fan-favorite DP World Tour pro. But now, it seems that the pro is putting the blues behind him and is making the most of his competitive and fun spirit on the course at the BMW PGA Championship.

Adrian Meronk, a DPWT pro who did his best this season and even won at Marco Simone, still could not make his way to the European squad. Donald’s decision to pick inexperienced or underperforming players such as Shane Lowry garnered a lot of negative attention.

Meronk expressed his feelings quite well after he was unable to fix his spot on the team and opened up about his future vision to focus on upcoming tournaments. The golfer is competing strongly at the $9 million event, and as of the concluded third round, he sits in the T25 position, tied in with two other golfers.

The DP World Tour posted a video of the Polish golfer dancing away his Ryder Cup blues and just enjoying himself. The 30-year-old just vibed to the music playing on the course after his Saturday round was completed. Along with the video, DPWT wrote, @adrian_meronk enjoying the music after his Saturday round 😂🎶#BMWPGA | #RolexSeries.”
