The winner of this year’s Abu Dhabi HSBC Championship, Victor Perez and Dale Whitnell, who won the Scandinavian Mixed, will also be eying the first prize to add more accolades to their recent success. In 2022, the event was won by China’s Li Haotong, his third victory in the tournament. To make the event more interesting for the on-ground spectators, a ‘Nearest to the Pin’ competition will be held where participants will compete against DP World Tour players as they will try to finish closer to the flag on the 12th hole than the best pro of the day. Winners will be aptly rewarded.

Prize money distribution and other perks

Besides monetary compensation, there is another attractive perk to make the competition more exciting for the players. The first golfer to hit a hole-in-one on the 17th will be rewarded with BMW’s latest model, BMW i5.
