Charley Hull may not have won a title recently, but she’s been consistently finishing at the top end of the table, and her personal life is also looking brighter than ever. The English golfer has been open about her fitness journey, and her dedication is truly inspiring. But what’s even more impressive is her recent bet with Ryan Evans to quit smoking for two months – with a whopping $12,930 on the line! Hull’s update on her journey is nothing short of amazing.

She recently shared that she’s completed a whole week without smoking and hasn’t had any cravings. The only side effect? A loss of appetite. And, she’s also been putting in the hard work to get her body ready for the next competition. Hull recently posted on her social media, “Nice 6.20 miles this morning so 10km in 53:22 mins”, showing off her impressive endurance training.  Yes, while the achievement is certainly deserving of praise, the setbacks that followed however, were not worth it.

Hull’s relentless pursuit of greatness has led to a string of impressive performances, but her latest training session has left her battered and bruised – literally! A photo of her shoe and blood-soaked socks, which she posted on her Instagram story, has gone viral, sparking concerns about the physical toll her training is taking on her body. Hull’s caption, “Bled through shoe 😂 no pain no gain,” suggests that she’s willing to push through the pain, but at what cost? While her dedication is admirable, one can’t help but wonder if the risks are worth the rewards.

Charley Hull’s answer on why she runs so much

Golfing sensation Charley Hull is known for her incredible talent, rapid pace, and fearless approach to the game. But what sets her apart from her fellow golfers is her unorthodox approach to training. When asked why she runs so much, Hull had a refreshingly honest answer: “People are asking why I run so much and why I don’t do golf-specific training… 1. golf training is boring I have no interest in that at all but the training & weights I do help my golf. 2. I love running as a hobby and for my fitness and my mind. The more fitter you are the less jet lag you get and the more stamina you have.”

Hull’s lifestyle choices may be unconventional, but they’re certainly paying off. As she puts it, “I love always being on the go living life in the fast lane… Sleep is key though I get about 10-11 hours a night of sleep but I also can survive for 4/5 hours of sleep with no problem.” This emphasis on rest and recovery is likely a key factor in her success, as adequate sleep is essential for physical and mental rejuvenation.
