Shane Lowry is a popular name in the men’s golf circuit. However, lately the golfer has been in a drought with no wins this season. Additionally, there were a few missed cuts, even in a major- the Open Championship. Hence, his chances for the Ryder Cup Europe Team were also dwindling.
However, on September 4, Luke Donald disclosed the names of his six captain’s picks, and in that group, one name was Shane Lowry as well. Now, there were some fans and pundits who showed their dismay at the captain’s choice of selecting a teammate who was out of form.

As a result of the backlash against his selection, Lowry shared a message for his haters. He said, “I’m not going to sit here and disagree with Luke Donald.
