What did Langer say about his performance?
Langer was undoubtedly nervous about the Chubb Classic at Tiburon Golf. His fans have been waiting for him to catch up to Irwin. He was under pressure and had doubts. Therefore, he explained his thoughts and said, “Then you have thoughts running through your mind, and you’re going, wow, you’re this close; you don’t want to lose it now.” Even though he knew that was not productive in any way, he was still doing it. “that’s the wrong stuff to think. You’ve got to just focus on one shot at a time,” said the new champion.
