The 2025 season has been quite a hit for Ben Griffin’s performance, with a mix of impressive finishes and some tough breaks. He kicked off the year with a respectable T45 finish at the Sony Open in Hawaii and followed it up with a strong T7 showing at The American Express. However, he struggled at the Farmers Insurance Open, missing the cut. Griffin bounced back with a T69 finish at the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am and then notched a T36 finish at the WM Phoenix Open. Most recently, he finished T44 at The Genesis Invitational. As Griffin continues to battle it out on the course of the 2025 Mexico Open, his equipment remains a crucial part of his game, with his trusty clubs and precision gear helping him stay competitive at the highest level. So what does it entail?

The amazing PGA Tour golfer’s equipment is a key part of his success on the golf course. Let’s start with his putter – he uses a Scotty Cameron Concept 2 with a Scotty Cameron Pistolero Golf Grip. This putter is a high-end model that provides a smooth roll and excellent control. It’s priced around $400, but for Griffin, it’s worth every penny. He’s able to sink crucial putts with confidence, thanks to the putter’s consistent performance.

Griffin’s driver, fairway woods, and hybrids are also top-notch. He uses a Ping G430 Max driver with a 9-degree loft and a 7TX Proto V1 Shaft, which costs around $600. This driver provides exceptional distance and accuracy, helping Griffin to dominate off the tee. His 3-wood is a TaylorMade Qi10 with a 15-degree loft, paired with a Lin-Q M40x 8F5 UST Mamiya Black shaft, priced around $300. The 7-wood is a Ping G430 MAX with a 21-degree loft, using the same shaft as his 3-wood. These fairway woods and hybrids provide Griffin with the versatility and precision he needs to attack the course from various angles.

Ben Griffin’s choice of wedges and irons

Ben Griffin’s iron game is on point, thanks to his trusty Mizuno JPX 923 Hot Metal irons with Dynamic Golf shafts. These babies deliver the perfect blend of distance, forgiveness, and control, helping Griffin tackle even the toughest approach shots with confidence. And the best part? They’re priced around $1,300 for a set of 4-9 irons, which is a steal considering their exceptional performance. But, Griffin doesn’t just stop at one iron model – he also uses the Mizuno S3 4-9 irons, which offer a more traditional look and feel while still delivering top-notch results.
