We know the WM Phoenix Open as one of the wildest events on the PGA Tour. And these are not just words, but the proof of madness is going viral on Twitter. Christopher McDonald, the 1996 comedy Happy Gilmore fame, posted a video of a fan going crazy on the grounds of TPC Scottsdale – Stadium Course. The fans reacted to the video. All the golf enthusiasts were unhappy with how things turned out. However, some of the golf fans gave a hilarious touch to their reactions.
Golf is not just about making a hole-in-one or carding birdies. It has many more elements, and having fun is one part of it. That is what happened yesterday and has become the talk of the town. The guy in the video suddenly entered the frame and started dancing with the flagstick. He swung around it and showed some unexpected dance moves. The crazy fan then ran around the golf course and hyped everyone to cheer more. However, the most bizarre part was that he was in his underpants. Yes, you read that right. He was wearing nothing but his underpants and had writing all over his torso, front and back.

The golf world expressed dismay at the video
The golf world reacted precisely the way it was expected. Fans going crazy at a live golf event is not new, however, this fan took it to another level. As a result, the official Twitter handle of Dude Wipes commented on it. They took the opportunity and said, “gonna need us” to clear the mess made by the fan. The Fantasy Sports TV Host, Emerson Lotzia, Jr, chimed in and said, “GO BACK TO YOUR SHANTIES!!” And the disappointment did not end there.

Even though the Phoenix Open is a fun event, this behavior was unconventional. Even Christopher McDonald, who played Shooter McGavin, the villain golfer, disapproved of the behavior. While posting the video, he wrote, “DAMN YOU PEOPLE! THIS IS GOLF! NOT A ROCK CONCERT!” And we agree with him. But did fans agree?

Most of the comments were sarcastic and proved that fans were disappointed too. Hooting and cheering for your favorite golfer is always appreciated. Even if the flag stick dance was done in good spirits, it does not reflect the sport.
Here are a few reactions that will make you believe the discontentment of golf fans.

Well, the board thinks that that might be extreme considering the fact that our ratings were the highest that we've ever had.
