The 2023 Amundi Evian Championship is underway at the Evian Resort Golf Club. There is much tension and excitement on and off the course as the players duke it out at the tournament. And some players go above and beyond as they do whatever they need to win the title in the major.

The game of golf is not strange to bizarre instances on the course. And it was true in the case of the championship too as the event saw a pro golfer go out of her way to hit the golf ball in a peculiar manner. Her actions has left the golfing community much surprised and amazed with her effort!

Pro golfer makes a remarkable recovery

As the championship is underway, many golfers are vying for the win as they showcase their plays, tactics and techniques to stay on top. Georgia Hall is no different as she went on to make the weekend cut with scores of 71 (E) and 73 (+2) in the first and second rounds respectively. Her efforts on the golf course bought in much response as she showed off her determination to fight till the end.

The English pro golfer took off her shoes on the 16th hole to chip in her ball to the greens. Earlier her ball had managed to find its way into the rough as the golfer went ahead and decided to go barefoot. She managed an amazing shot leading to an incredible recovery despite the obvious hurdle. Moreover, she went ahead to capture the hearts of many fans and commentators alike as they went ahead to say how her “feet are nice and white showing her level of dedication to the game of golf and practice”.

The golfer was seen wiping her feet clean after managing to pull off the feat just following the suit of the golfing legend John Daly. The American golfer had once, in a bid to set a record, made a hole-in-one while barefoot. He was playing in the 2020 Bone Frog Open as he made the remarkable shot. While not to the point of getting a hole-in-one, Hall has managed to pull it off nevertheless showing off her grit in the sport.

The shot leaves the golfing community spellbound

The exceptional shot by Georgia Hall has managed to captivate the hearts of many fans. The Instagram video saw many a reactions ranging from compliments to funny ones about her feet. While her performance in the first two rounds were not her best, the one that came in round 3 was well received by the fans. Let us take a look at some of the comments.
