The Ryder Cup, one of the golfing world’s most eagerly awaited events, is in full swing at Marco Simone Golf and Country Club. It wasn’t the start the U.S. team was hoping for, but their resilience in the afternoon session on the second day gave a glimmer of hope. Despite trailing Europe 10½-5½, the Americans still have an opportunity for a remarkable turnaround.
Despite not being selected for the Ryder Cup team, this PGA Tour pro is actively supporting his team. His recent social media update received positive reactions from fans. Let’s learn more about it.
Despite being sidelined, PGA Tour pro backs Team USA
Numerous esteemed players were competing for a spot on the Ryder Cup team, but, among many others, it was Justin Thomas who also secured one. His path to the Ryder Cup wasn’t without controversy, with some questioning his selection over other seasoned players. One player who many believe deserved a spot was Keegan Bradley.
Although he’s not on the team, he’s cheering them from home. He recently posted a video on social media from previous historic games where American players made a remarkable comeback. His clip encourages the players and inspires them to get the title home with a stellar response.
He captioned the post, “I’ve seen some big comebacks in my life. I can’t wait to watch this one tomorrow. Come on BOYS! COWBOY UP LFG #GOUSA.” Ahead of the final round, this post by Bradley was showered with reactions from fans from all around the globe.

The video posted by Keegan included the historic victory of the USA in 1999. The team clinched the victory with a final score of 14½ to 13½, despite the Europeans’ 10-6 lead going into the last round. However, the Americans mounted a remarkable comeback, securing the first 6 matches and taking the lead.
