‘Baby Girraffe-y’: Michelle Wie West Cracks Up Golf Fans As Her Hilarious Cheer Moves for Husband Goes Viral

Earlier this year, after an illustrious 18 years as a pro, Michelle Wie West officially retired from the sport. While her injuries and the pressures of the game, which she was no longer able to cope with, backed her into a corner to make this decision, she’s since been enjoying retirement quite wholeheartedly! And even though she’s stepped away from professional golf, she’s certainly not left the sport behind.

From organising events for the LPGA to investing in Tiger Woods’ TGL league alongside Serena Williams and her husband Alexis Ohanian, the ex-golf pro is still quite involved with the sport. More recently, she even went viral with her husband as the two enjoyed the fast-upgrading tech side of golf! And boy did she leave the fans bent over laughing with her moves for her hubby!

After her retirement, Michelle Wie West dabbled in many things, including tennis. However, her heart lay with golf, and it constantly brought her back to the sport. As an investor in TGL, the former LPGA star, along with the likes of other athletes like Alex Morgan, is associated with the LA Golf team.

Since coming on board Woods’ league, it seems like Michelle has taken an active interest in the tech side of golf. And a recent post of hers on Instagram captured exactly that interest! In the video post, Michelle can be seen vibing to the viral ‘more passion, more energy’ song as she dances near her husband, who is training on a golf simulator.

The post captioned, “Are you in love with someone who identifies as a professional golfer? Love your partner without measure. Measure your golf swing with Sportsbox,” showcased the golfer, flaunting her cheer moves as her husband gapes at her in disbelief, standing next to Sportsbox’s golf tech with a club in his hand.

The golf community appreciates Wie’s amazing dance moves

Golf netizens came like swarms of bees to cheer the ex-pro golfer on on Instagram. Alongside, fans Michelle Wie West herself and other famous names in and outside of the golf world also commented.

Wie West herself commented on her post, hilariously unable to comprehend her own dance skills. “I can’t 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣” she wrote.

Her former LPGA colleague golfer Alison Lee too chimed in arguably talking about the caption, and commented, “I feel like it’s the other way round”

The golf enthusiast and Mervel superstar Kathryn Newton too exclaimed that the post had her laughing and said, “So funnnyyyy”
