The Augusta National Women’s Amateur is gearing up for its sixth edition this weekend from April 3 to April 6. The championship was announced in 2018, and since has provided a stage for female golfers to enter the sport competitively and increase the game’s reach. Jennifer Kupcho’s victory at the inaugural event in 2019 set a high benchmark and subsequent years saw the emergence of young talents like Tsubasa Kajitani, Rose Zhang, and Anna Davis.

The Champions Retreat Golf Club will host the first 36 holes of competition. On Friday, the whole field will play on the Augusta National GC in an official practice round. Players who make the cut will compete in the final round on April 6 at Augusta National. The stage is set for an interesting first round as we see who will play with whom and at what time.
