The wait is over! The Augusta National Women’s Amateur is back, and 72 of the best amateur golfers in the world are set to compete for one of the most prestigious titles in the sport. The tournament kicks off this Wednesday at Champions Retreat Golf Club in Evans, Georgia, with players battling through 54 holes of stroke play. The first two rounds take place on April 2 and 3, and after that, only the top 30 players (plus ties) will move on to the final round at Augusta National Golf Club on April 5.
And the best part here is that every single player in the field gets to experience Augusta National on Friday, April 4, during a special practice round, which also includes playing on the legendary Par 3 Course. Alright, now let’s get into the first-round pairings. This year’s field is absolutely stacked, with 49 of the top 50 players in the Women’s Amateur Golf Rankings competing. And to top it all up, last year’s champion, Lottie Woad, is back to defend her title!

How to watch the Augusta National Women’s Amateur?
Just like last year, all three rounds of the 2025 Augusta National Women’s Amateur will be broadcast live, so you can follow your favorite players every step of the way.
The first two rounds will be aired live on Golf Channel from 1:30 to 3:30 PM ET. For the grand finale at Augusta National on April 5, NBC will provide exclusive coverage from 12 to 3 PM ET, bringing all the drama of the final round straight to your screen.
