What is the cut at 2022 AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am?

The 2022 PGA Tour season moves to its fifth and arguably one of the most anticipated events of the season. This year, this event will include both fans and celebrities, which were not a part of the 2021 event because of Covid-19 restrictions. The Pebble Beach Pro-Am will start on February 3rd and conclude on February 6th. Some of the notable names who will take the field this week are Jordan Spieth, Patrick Cantlay, and the defending champion, Daniel Berger.

The event will be played at three golf courses. First is the Monterey Peninsula Country Club, which measures a total of 6958 yards. The second golf course is the Spyglass Hill Golf Course, which measures a total of 6858 yards, and the third one is Pebble Beach Golf Links. However, the unique feature of the event is that the tournament will not have a 36 hole cut. Instead, the cut line will be decided after 54 holes that are after three rounds.

The reason behind this is that all players are going to play the three courses in rotation and then, after the three rounds conclude, a cut line will be determined. Top 60 professionals and ties will make it into the final round on Sunday. Notably, the top 25 pro-am teams and ties will make it into the final round at Pebble Beach Golf Links.
The total prize purse for the 2022 AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am is a whopping $8.7 million. The winner of the event will take home $1,512,000.
