It is a universal fact that life is not always easy. Sometimes, it teaches lessons in the most crooked ways possible. Lexi Thompson, for one, can attest to the same. Although she is no stranger to seeing the bright side of life even during the darkest of days, she remains a co-survivor in her mother’s long journey against cancer. She once talked about how her mother’s fight with cancer has inspired her to be a better woman and a player.

Lexi Thompson started her career very early on in life. In fact, she was the youngest golfer to qualify for the US Women’s Open at just 12. Ever since her debut, the pro golfer has remained strong and her game has improved with every passing year.

There is no doubt that Lexi’s mother’s optimism during, probably, the most difficult time of her life, inspired her daughter. Lexi has stayed strong throughout her mother’s journey and has continuously worked on becoming the best version of herself.

She also talked about what was the message her mother gave her, and it’s truly heartwarming to watch their bond grow stronger, even in times of immense stress like such.
