The game of golf can be very unpredictable. Sometimes even one bad hole can undo all the good work of previous rounds. Megan Khang had a series of unfortunate events at the Columbia Edgewater Macan Course.
She was topping the leaderboard at 18-under par on Saturday. She looked good for the trophy the next day but in the last round, her putting skills faltered and she earned two bogeys. She had to leave Oregon with utter disappointment.
Now, she is flying to Spain to represent her country in this coveted Solheim Cup. She shared an update about the same from her Instagram profile. In the post, sharing a picture from the Portland Classic, she wrote, “📍𝙿𝚘𝚛𝚝𝚕𝚊𝚗𝚍 𝙿𝚘𝚜𝚝𝚌𝚊𝚛𝚍 💌. 𝙽𝚎𝚡𝚝 𝚜𝚝𝚘𝚙…𝙴𝚜𝚙𝚊𝚗̃𝚊 🇪🇸#USA🇺🇸.”

Jessica Korda is the tower of strength for Megan Khang ahead of the Solheim Cup
As Khang updated about her next target, which is the Solheim Cup, Jessica Korda, and fans have posted their comments to encourage Megan for her next battle. Jessica Korda, sister of Nelly Korda, a participant in the upcoming event, made a 6-word query and said, “Is my postcard in the mail?” Appears Khang now will have to do some work to satiate Jessica, if she hasn’t done it already.
Some fans highlighted her performance in the Portland Classic. “Another great showing Megan! You are playing well, keep up the great ball striking!” said one, encouraging her to maintain her ball-striking in the upcoming biennial event.
